The Story

Fits: 2001 thru 2016 Chevy Silverado/GMC Sierra 2500HD/3500HD LB7/LLY/LBZ/LMM/LML Duramax Diesel

The main reason for changing the firing order with the camshaft is to relieve stress on the front portion of the crankshaft. The OEM firing order ends with cylinder #3 and begins with cylinders #1 and #2. Duramax engine crankshafts have a tendency to break right behind the first rod throw at the intersection of the second main journal. With a Wagler Competition alternate firing camshaft, cylinders 1, 2, and 3 are moved away from each other to help extend the abuse the crankshaft can withstand.

Features:

  • No piston valve reliefs needed
  • Great replacement for tow, street & strip
  • Relieves crankshaft stress
  • Reduces chances of broken crankshaft and costly repairs
  • Simple wiring pin swap, no major modifications needed

Includes:

  • Stage 1 alternate firing camshaft

Notes:

  • Engine wiring harness modifications are required due to the new firing order
  • THE MANUFACTURE, SALE, OFFER FOR SALE, OR INSTALLATION OF THIS PRODUCT IS NOT LEGAL IN CALIFORNIA.
