This hub is designed to improve lubrication for the C2 clutches. Lack of lubrication causes premature clutch wear especially when engine power has been increased. Similar billet C2 hubs are also available for extremely modified trucks. However this upgrade is all most Duramax owners will ever need. This is a very affordable and effective upgrade to any transmission build.
